Adding an image to the text block in Cascade is extremely similar to adding images to documents in Word. Cascade also gives image previews during the selection process to make this task simple.

.) Leave your cursor where you would like your image to appear in the text block. Navigate to the top of the WYSIWYG and select 'Insert', then 'Image'
.) In the 'Insert/Edit Image' window, select 'Choose File'
.) If you have recently uploaded the image* you wish to use, it may appear in your 'Recent' column. If the image is not in the 'Recent' column, you will navigate to 'Browse', then navigate to your site's 'Images' folder.
.) Browse and select the image you wish to place into the text block. As you select images, Cascade will generate a small preview of the image for your reference. Once you have found and selected the image, select 'Choose'.
.) For accessibility purposes, you will need to add an 'Image description' for the image. If a web user is using accessibility tools while browsing your website, they may need a text description of the image. This is a very important step in keeping our websites accessible and usable for all staff, students and faculty. The description can be brief, but must contain a fair representation of the image.
.) Select 'Ok', and your image will appear in the text block.
