The Facts and Figures content row is a 1x3 or 2x3 tiled content row. Unlike most of the other available content rows, the Facts and Figures row does not completely focus on imagery. It can be used to share event announcements, list resources, share guides or program/dept. goals, and more.

Adding/Editing Facts and Figures

Step One

If you are editing an existing Facts and Figures, select 'Edit' on your landing page, then find the drop down labeled 'select-facts-figures'. Select the drop down to open the content row.

To add a new Facts and Figures row, select the green plus symbol of the content row you wish to place your new photo nav underneath. Cascade will refresh, and you will see a new Content Row with a blank value field.

Select the drop down labeled 'Select value...' and find and select the 'Facts and Figures' option.

From here, you can begin adding/editing your content.

Step Two

Add/edit a 'Header' to your f+f section.

Step Three

Add content for your first factoid (factoid refers to the first box in your f+f grid). While you can add a bit more text here than other content rows, please be mindful of the spacing of all of your content. This content should still be no longer than one brief paragraph. If one factoid in the row has too much content, the others will be far too long and have unnecessary blank space.

If you would like to give your factoid a distinct heading, add a number or one-word title above your body content and set it to Header 3.

Step Four

Choose your factoid style. You should try to match your content to the factoid style you choose. For the above example, I will select a Circle factoid, minimum of text. This will place my h3 content ('1') in a stylized circle, and I only have on short sentence of text, so this works very well.

Next, you will need to select a background color. Please keep in mind how the colors stack if you are creating a 2x3 Facts and Figures row. Ideally the content row should have a 'patchwork' style to keep the contrast up between factoids for accessibility.

Here is what the 'Circle factoid, minimum text' looks like in use:

You may need to play with the different Factoid styles to land on one that works best for your content in a particular factoid.

Step Five

Use the green plus symbol to add another factoid. You will then repeat steps 2-4. The Facts and Figures must have 3 or 6 factoids. Any other number of factoids and the ratio of the page will be thrown off, as the factoids are right aligned and you will be left with odd white space on your page.

As with other content rows, once you have added additional items, you can use the green plus, red x, and up and down arrows to add items, delete items, and edit their placement within the row.

Step Six

Follow the steps to preview, submit, and publish.
